How files are protected
- Files travel to this server over your connection to it; use HTTPS.
- The server encrypts every part with a per-file key before sending it to Telegram, so Telegram stores only encrypted data. Telegram can still see sizes and upload times.
- File keys are encrypted with the server's master key. The server decrypts files when you download them, so this is not end-to-end encryption.
- File names and folder names are stored unencrypted in the database.
- Anyone with a download or folder link can open what it points to. Share links carefully.
- Save your links: they are shown once, after the upload finishes.
